Isabella hails from Sydney NSW where she trained from an early age at Academy Ballet under Mrs Kuner, Mr Bill Pengelly and the redoubtable Mrs Dubovsky. Isabella completed her ballet education at the Australian Conservatoire in Melbourne and from there joined the Finnish National Ballet, where after a few months as an apprentice, she was promoted to dancer. During her 4 years in Finland, Isabella danced in numerous classics in both corps and solo roles including Swan Lake, La Sylphide Nutcracker, Manon, La Bayadere and Sleeping Beauty. During her time at the Finnish National, Isabella had the privilege of working with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin and Jorma Elo. Isabella was offered a place at the Western Australian Ballet after working in Finland with its current director Mr Scanella.
Isabella has been fortunate enough to enjoy the tutelage and guidance of some very prominent dancers, including Miss Vicki Attard and Ms Cynthia Harvey. In 2009, Isabella won the Roseta Mauri International Competition in Spain, convened by Mr Arcardi Carbonell and later Mr Angel Corella. Isabella performed the lead role in the critically acclaimed Bennelong Project Sydney Opera House.
Isabella has been engaged to guest teach in Finland, Sydney and Perth. She has taken classes of all ages and coached individuals at an elite level. Isabella teaches all kinds of dance including classical ballet, contemporary and flamenco.
