Dance Central will be celebrating our twenty seventh year in 2020. We offer the highest quality of classes and professional facilities for Perth children and teenagers in Jazz/Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Classical Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Dance and Creative Dance for toddlers.
We believe it’s important to offer appropriate tuition and follow a curriculum that is customised for the student’s level of experience.
Our longevity is testament to our passion and commitment in providing fresh, innovative and informative dance classes.
Our Classical Ballet students participate in a National curriculum with optional exam entry, working towards their qualifications in dance. Many former students have graduated to W.A.A.P.A. and are now working with international renowned dance companies.
Our new facilities In the Brush Factory, East Fremantle are state of the art. They are fully air-conditioned with professionally sprung dance floors and fully mirrored studios. Catering for optimum safety and care in fulfilling the “Safe Dance Practice Code” .
Our teachers are dedicated dance professionals who are passionate about education through dance. Term 4 concerts for our Junior and Senior students provide valuable performance experience, with quality entertainment and excellent stage craft.
We offer both recreational classes and a performance stream for students aspiring to work at a professional level. We treat our dance families with respect and believe we are privileged to teach and inspire our students.
Principal of Dance Central Gabrielle Cronan, a former West Australian Ballet dancer was awarded the prestigious title of “Fellow” of the Australian Institute of Classical Dance. Gabrielle is the former Chairperson and State Representative for W.A. Australian Institute of Classical Dance. Having resided on a National Dance Committee with Marilyn Jones OBE as the Artistic Director, Gabrielle spearheaded many State and Community dance events in Western Australia on a voluntary basis.
Gabrielle was a national recipient of the Australian Institute of Classical Dance annual Teacher’s scholarship with the Australian Ballet School in 2003.
Gabrielle is a National Ballet Examiner for the Australian Institute of Classical Dance and is passionate about creating opportunities for young and experienced dancers.
In 2020 our students will continue to experience the benefits of fitness, strength, focus, concentration, creativity and well being. They will forge friendships, increase their endurance levels and improved their flexibility both physical and mental, through discipline, hard work and an abundance of joy and fun!
